65 50 025 Removing and installing/replacing video switch

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DAMAGE (ESD PROTECTION) .
NOTE: Follow notes for HANDLING OPTICAL FIBRES .

Necessary preliminary work: 

Lever out expanding rivets (1).

Release screw (2).

Remove lashing eye (3).

Carefully press luggage compartment wheel arch panel (4) to one side.

Installation note: 

Make sure luggage compartment wheel arch panel (2) and rubber seal are correctly seated.

Pull off wiring harness guide (1) in an upward direction.

Lift out expanding rivet (2).

Remove wheel arch support (3) by lifting upwards.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unscrew nuts (2).

Remove video switch (3).
