52 16... Removing or installing thigh support mechanism at left or right front seat (sport, electrical)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Partially remove seat cover . See 52 16 402 REPLACING SEAT COVER FOR DRIVER'S SEAT (SPORT, ELECTRICAL) or 52 16 404 REPLACING SEAT COVER FOR FRONT PASSENGER SEAT (SPORT, ELECTRICAL) on front seat

Move thigh support (1) all the way forward.

Unlock top thigh support mechanism (1) in marked area:

First unlock thigh support mechanism in the middle.
Pull thigh support mechanism toward the front while unlocking the left and right side at the same time.

Release screws.

Remove bottom thigh support mechanism (1).
