64 12 120 Removing and installing/replacing intake silencer for independent/auxiliary heater

Work on auxiliary heater may only be carried out when it has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove FRONT LEFT WHEEL ARCH TRIM
Loosen the retaining clip (1) and unscrew the silencer (2) from the connecting hose (3) in direction of arrow.
Installation note:
If the retaining clip (1) is damaged, replace the intake silencer (2).
