17 11 100 Removing And Installing/Replacing The Coolant Expansion Tank (N63 B40/44 O 1)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Drain COOLANT .
Remove WHEEL ARCH COVER (REAR SECTION) front left.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque: 17 10 2AZ .

Unlock connector (1) on coolant level switch and disconnect.

Pull expansion tank (1) forward.

Release and disconnect coolant hoses (2).

Release and disconnect coolant hoses (3).

Feed out expansion tank (1) toward the front and remove.

Assemble engine.

Top up COOLANT .

Check cooling system for LEAKS .
