17 11 100 Removing And Installing/Renewing Coolant Expansion Tank (N20 / N26)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

FOLLOW instructions for repair work on the cooling system.
Disconnect coolant hoses from expansion tank for coolant.

Slacken nut (1).

Release screw (2).

Remove heat shield (3).

Release screw (1).

Lay filler neck (2) for windscreen washer fluid to one side.

Unlock and disconnect plug on coolant level switch (1).

Unlock and detach coolant hose (1).

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque: 17 10 3AZ .

Lift expansion tank (3) for coolant slightly until the coolant hose under the expansion tank is accessible.

Unlock and detach coolant hose (1).

Unlock connector (2) and remove.

Remove coolant expansion tank.

Fill the cooling system.
