17 11 035 Removing And Installing/Replacing Fan Cowl With Electric Fan (N55 hybrid)

WARNING: High-voltage system - danger to life!

WARNING: The following points must be strictly observed prior to starting work:

Observe SAFETY INFORMATION for handling hybrid cars.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Switch off ignition.
Remove CROSS CONNECTION .

Release screw (1) on fan cowl.

Tightening torque: 17 10 4AZ .

Detach charge-air duct (2) from fan cowl.

Unlock and disconnect connector (1) on fan cowl on right.

Unclip fan cowl (1) at clamps (2) on left and right, thread out in upward direction and remove.

Installation note:

Insert retaining tab (1) at bottom on module carrier.

NOTE: Check stored fault message.
Reassemble the vehicle.
Delete fault memory.
