17 12 020 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Auxiliary Water Pump (S63 B44 T 0)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release screw (1).

Release auxiliary water pump (2) together with bracket in upward direction from holder.

IMPORTANT: Ensure that no coolant enter into the plug connection of the auxiliary coolant pump.
Check plug connection for coolant residues. If necessary, blow clean plug connection with compressed air.

Unlock connector (1) and remove.

Release clamps (2) and detach coolant hoses.

Lift out auxiliary water pump (3) together with holder.

Add COOLANT  after completing repair work.

Check cooling system for tightness.

Assemble engine.

Read out the fault memory of the DME control unit.

Delete fault memory.
