61 35 240 Removing and installing (replacing) Smart Opener control unit (non-contact rear lid opening)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release screw (1).

Unlock retaining lug (2) and pull out control unit (1) in direction of arrow.

Unlock plug connections (3) and disconnect.

Installation note: 

Make sure plug connections and control unit (1) are seated correctly.

Make sure connecting lines are correctly routed.
