61 20... Disconnecting and connecting both battery earth leads (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle)

Follow instructions on INTELLIGENT BATTERY SENSOR (IBS) .

Necessary preliminary tasks:
IMPORTANT:
Before disconnecting the battery earth lead, it must be ensured that the vehicle goes to sleep. Observe a waiting period of at least 2 minutes.
Main battery:
IMPORTANT:
Do not use force to pull or lever intelligent battery sensor (IBS) (2) off from battery.
Loosen nut (1).
Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ .
Remove IBS (2) from battery and secure at side.
Auxiliary battery:
Remove service flap (1) from luggage compartment trim panel on the right.
Auxiliary battery:
IMPORTANT:
Do not use force to pull or lever intelligent battery sensor (IBS) (2) off from battery.
Loosen nut (1).
Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ .
Remove IBS (2) from battery and secure at side.
