61 12 013 Replace battery earth lead

The following points must be strictly observed prior to starting work :
De-energize the HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM .

Read and comply with notes and notes on INTELLIGENT BATTERY SENSOR .
Read and comply with notes and notes on INTELLIGENT BATTERY SENSOR .
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Partially remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH PANEL ON RIGHT
Slacken nut (1) on negative battery terminal.
Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ .
IMPORTANT:
Do not under any circumstances use force to pull off negative terminal.
Detach battery earth lead with intelligent battery sensor (IBS) in upward direction, lay to one side and secure.
Disconnect plug connection (2).
Remove nut (1) and battery earth lead (2).
Tightening torque 61 21 6AZ .
