51 16 163 Removing and installing/replacing rear center console cover

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Open storage compartment lid (1).

Starting at the top, unclip the cover of the center console (2) toward the rear.

Installation note: 

Make sure clamps are seated correctly in associated guides of center console.

Replace defective clamps on center console cover (1).

Unlock plug connections on center console cover (1) and disconnect.

NOTE: Number of plug connections can vary depending on the equipment specification.
