51 32 390 Removing and installing/replacing frame trim on front left or right side window frame

Special tools required:

00 9 325

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Open side window
Remove OUTER FRONT DOOR WINDOW CAVITY COVER STRIP
Remove SEAL FOR DOOR GAP/ROOF FRAME

Disengage rubber window seal (1) at frame trim from window frame.

Installation note:

To facilitate installation, slightly wet rubber window seal with water.

Starting at the front, lever out frame trim from window frame (1) with special tool 00 9 325 and remove.

Installation note:

Replace faulty clips (1) and (2) on frame trim (3). Start at rear when seating frame trim (3).
