51 47 243 Removing and installing/replacing all luggage compartment trim panels

WARNING: High-voltage system - danger to life!
The following points must be strictly observed prior to starting work :

Observe SAFETY INFORMATION for handling hybrid cars.

Open tailgate.

Fold up luggage compartment floor trim panel (1).

Release plastic nuts (2).

Remove luggage compartment floor trim panel (1) in direction of arrow.

Release expanding rivets (1).

Feed out cover (2) in direction of arrow.

Disconnect plug connection behind.

Installation note:

Make sure cover (2) is seated correctly and properly sealed.

Release expanding rivets (1).

Release screw (2) and remove lashing eye (3).

Feed out luggage compartment wheel arch panel (4) and remove.

Installation note:

Make sure luggage compartment wheel arch panel (4) and rubber seal are correctly fitted.

Open flap (1) at recess (3) and remove in direction of arrow.

Feed out fuel filler flap emergency release located behind.

Release expanding rivets (2).

Release screw (4) and remove lashing eye (5).

Feed out luggage compartment wheel arch panel (6) and remove.
