33 10 155 Removing and installing/replacing right rear axle differential servomotor (M5)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove EXHAUST SYSTEM .

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release screws (2) and place ground strap (3) to one side.

Tightening torque 33 11 7AZ .

Take out servomotor on the right past the output shaft.

Installation note:

Clean sealing surface (1) and apply Loctite 5970 sealing compound.

Installation note:

During installation, it is absolutely essential to make sure that guide (1) on servomotor is seated in groove (2) in rear axle differential.

After installation:

Replacement only: Perform START-UP .
