31 51 065 Replacing O-ring for bearing block

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove bearing support . See 31 53 040 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT OUTPUT SHAFT BEARING BLOCK , 31 53 040 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT OUTPUT SHAFT BEARING BLOCK or 31 53 040 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT OUTPUT SHAFT BEARING BLOCK .

Lever out O-ring (1) from bearing block (2) with a screwdriver.

Installation note:

Insert O-ring (1) in groove and coat with front axle differential oil.

Replace RADIAL SHAFT SEAL .
