11 61 368 Removing and installing/replacing rear left charge-air duct (N55 Hybrid)

Observe SAFETY INFORMATION for handling electric vehicles.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove left SUSPENSION CROSS-BRACE .
Remove INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .

Unlocked
Locked

Installation note:

Ensure locking clamps are correctly fitted.

Lock must engage.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unlock and disconnect line (2).

Release screw (3).

Unfasten hose clamp (4).

Unlock snap fastener (5).

Detach rear charge-air duct with gaiter (6) from front charge-air duct (7).

Release charge-air duct (6) from intake plenum connection and remove towards top.

Installation note:

Fasteners must audibly engage.

The gasket inside the snap fastener and bracket (1) must be coated with lubricant.

Assemble engine.
