13 53 570 Replacing pressure regulator on pressure accumulator of injection system (N57 D30 U/O/T 0/1)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read out the fault memory of the DDE control unit.
- Switch off ignition.
- Remove PRESSURE ACCUMULATOR .
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of escaping fuel.
Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.
Installation note:
Pressure regulator may only be used once!
Pressure regulator must be replaced (cutting seat seal) after screw connection has been released.
Positioning before final tightening!
Grip at hexagon head (1) when removing pressure regulator.
Release hexagon screw connection on pressure accumulator.
Installation note:
Secure position of pressure regulator and grip at hexagon head (2).
Tightening torque 13 53 4AZ .
NOTE:
Assemble engine.
Check fuel system for tightness.
Reset adaptation of pressure regulator with BMW diagnosis system.
Check stored fault message.
Delete fault memory.
Check fuel system for tightness.
Reset adaptation of pressure regulator with BMW diagnosis system.
Check stored fault message.
Delete fault memory.
