32 41 060 Removing And Installing Vane Pump For Hydraulic Steering (N57)

WARNING: DANGER OF POISONING if oil is ingested/absorbed through the skin!
RISK OF INJURY if oil comes into contact with eyes and skin!
IMPORTANT: Adhere to the utmost cleanliness. Do not allow any dirt to enter the hydraulic system.
Seal off hydraulic lines with seal plugs.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release hose clamp (1) and detach suction line from power steering pump.

Disconnect plug connection on rear side of power steering pump.

Installation note: 

Make sure hydraulic lines are laid without tension and with sufficient distance to adjoining components.

Align intake pipe by way of marking "P" (2) to power steering pump connection marking.

Replace hose clamp.

Release bolts (1) on power steering pump at front.

Tightening torque: 32 41 9AZ .

Turn power steering pump to one side and release screw (1) for pressure line.

Disconnect pressure line (2).

Lift out power steering pump.

Installation note: 

Replace sealing ring.

Tightening torque: 32 41 6AZ .
