64 11 943 Replacing evaporator temperature sensor

Necessary preliminary tasks
- Remove trim panel for pedal assembly . See 51 45 184 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL MECHANISM (ECE ONLY) or 51 45 184 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL MECHANISM (US ONLY) .
NOTE:
For purposes of clarity, picture shows heating and air-conditioning unit removed.
Disconnect plug connection (1) from evaporator temperature sensor.
Pull evaporator temperature sensor with flat-nose pliers out of heating and air-conditioning unit housing (1).
