35 21 041 Replacing spring for brake pedal

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove footwell trim . See 51 45 184 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL MECHANISM (ECE ONLY) or 51 45 184 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL MECHANISM (US ONLY) on driver's side.

Disconnect return spring (1).

NOTE: Check grommet (2) for damage, replace if necessary.
