61 31 898 Replace the relay for the air supply system

Follow instructions FOR DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY !
Observe notes on POWER SUPPLY /on intelligent battery sensor (IBS).

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove SPARE WHEEL WELL TRIM PANEL .
Disconnect BATTERY EARTH LEAD .

Shown with removed battery!

Pull off and renew the relay (position 1) for the air supply system.

Installation note:

It is absolutely necessary to secure a new relay with 2 cable straps on the wiring harness (position 2) to prevent malfunctions due to water ingress.
