52 14 207 Removing and installing ambient light

Necessary preliminary work
- Remove rear panel . See 52 14 198 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING REAR PANEL ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT BACKREST or 52 17 200 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING UPPER REAR PANEL ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT BACKREST on rear seat backrest.
NOTE:
The procedure for fitting the ambient light may differ, depending on the equipment specification.
Version 1:
Release shaft clamping rings (1).
Detach plug (2) from light guide.
Installation note:
Make sure plug is correctly engaged on light guide.
Remove ambient light.
Version 2:
Loosen clamps (1).
Detach plug (2) from light guide.
Installation note:
Make sure plug is correctly engaged on light guide.
Remove ambient light.
