67 31 520 Removing and installing/replacing seat height adjustment drive unit

Necessary preliminary work

Remove driver's or front passenger seat . See AZD-AZD-AZDMUC5210-F01 FRONT SEATS or 52 14 002 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, FRONT PASSENGER SIDE .

Set down front seat sideways on a suitable surface.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 67 31 1AZ .

Feed out seat height adjustment drive unit (3) and remove.

Installation note:

Fit seat height adjustment drive unit (1) with plastic clamp (2) only.

Make sure plastic clamp (2) is correctly seated.

NOTE:

Carry out FUNCTION CHECK WITH ADAPTER CABLE .

Replacement

INITIALISE seat height adjustment drive unit.

Necessary preliminary work

Remove driver's or front passenger seat . See 52 14 001 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, DRIVER'S SIDE or 52 14 002 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT, FRONT PASSENGER SIDE .

Set down front seat sideways on a suitable surface.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 67 31 1AZ .

Feed out seat height adjustment drive unit (3) and remove.
