52 17 062 Removing and installing/replacing front left or right lumbar support with valve housing (active seat)

Necessary preliminary tasks 

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Detach valve housing from pinetree clips.

Unlock and disconnect quick connector (1) and feed air hose out of fleece mat.

Pop out upper fleece tabs and disengage from spring wire.

Pop out lower fleece mat.

Unlock and disconnect quick connector (2).

Remove lumbar cushion with valve housing downwards between backrest frame and backrest padding.

Installation:

Check lumbar cushion for damage.

Make sure lumbar support is correctly fitted on fourth spring wire from below.

Air hoses must not be kinked.

Make sure valve housing is correctly seated.

NOTE: Carry out FUNCTION TEST.
