54 13 090 Removing and installing/replacing wind deflector

Necessary preliminary work 

Insert screwdriver (1) between the two holders.

Press wind deflector (1) down.

Keep screwdriver (2) in position.

Continue pressing down on wind deflector (1).

Insert screwdriver (2) next to first hold-down device (3).

Push welt (1) of net away from hold-down device using screwdriver (2).

Lift welt (1) out over holders using screwdriver.

Repeat procedure on remaining holders and hold-down devices.

Installation note: 

First slide welt of net below outer hold-down device.

Press welt over holders until welt engages audibly.

Press retaining lugs on left and right and push slide (1) forward.

Remove wind deflector.

Installation note: 

Make sure spring (1) is fitted correctly.
