Ideal setting of the retraction depth (rear window glass, fixed)

Open rear door
Insert and hold special tool 51 3 080 onto door window glass and hold
Close rear door
Measure retraction depth

Measure retraction depth (C) in area (A).

Retraction depth (C):

A = 2.8 ± 0.7 mm

Distance from measuring point to window guide = 10 mm

NOTE: Reference point for retraction depth is edge to roof frame strip (1).

IMPORTANT: Rear door must open and close without the door window glass touching the roof trim strip (risk of damage)
