51 49 029 Install water gutter cover at side

Necessary preliminary tasks

Open rear lid
Remove CENTRE WATER GUTTER .

NOTE: The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.

Detach mucket (1) along water gutter (2).

Release bolt (3).

Tightening torque: 51 49 6AZ

Release expansion rivet (4).

Remove water gutter (3)

Check clamp (1) for damage, replacing if necessary.

IMPORTANT: If clip mounts (2) are removed after additional work (such as for painting), they need to be replaced to prevent leaks.
