51 22 225 Removing and installing or replacing inside door opener in left or right rear door

Necessary preliminary tasks
- Remove REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .
Unlock hinge bolt (1) with screwdriver (2) in direction of arrow.
Secure door opener (2) against falling out.
Pull out hinge bolt (1) in direction of arrow with a suitable tool until door opener (2) is free.
Do no pull out hinge bolt entirely.
Installation:
Hinge bolt (1) must snap clearly into place.
Check hinge bolt (1) for damage and replace if necessary.
