61 31 021 Removing and installing/replacing emergency starting coil

Necessary preliminary work

REMOVE STEERING COLUMN SHROUD LOWER SECTION .

Release emergency starting coil (1) and pull in direction of arrow out of steering column shroud (2).

Installation note:

Make sure emergency starting coil (1) is correctly seated.
