61 35 975 Removing and installing/replacing bumper aerial for comfort access system

NOTE: Graphic shows the F10 by way of example, deviations in detail are possible in other models.

Depending on vehicle type and version: 

Release screws (1).

Release expanding rivets (2).

Remove bottom cover (3).

Installation note:  Screws (1) and expanding rivets (2) must not be damaged or missing.

NOTE: Bumper aerial is located behind bumper panel on guide at rear centre.

If necessary, extend trailer tow hitch.

Reach between bumper panel and end plate.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unlock and remove bumper aerial (2) from bracket (3).

Installation note:  Make sure bumper aerial (2) is seated correctly in bracket (3).
