11 37 008 Removing and installing/replacing right eccentric shaft (S63)

Special tools required: 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

IMPORTANT: All intake side bearing supports are marked and may only be reinstalled at the same position.

Unfasten screws (2 and 3).

Remove intake side bearing support (1) and place on special tool 11 4 480 in an orderly fashion.

Lift off eccentric shaft (1).

IMPORTANT: Risk of mixing up the eccentric shafts.
Identification: 14 = cylinders 1 to 4.
Identification: 58 = cylinders 5 to 8.

Check fitting bushes (1) for damage and replace if applicable.

Insert intermediate shaft 14 for cylinders 1-4.

Place bearing support (1) in position.

Insert screws (2 and 3).

Tightening torque: 11 37 1AZ .

Assemble engine.
