11 22 510 Removing and installing/replacing flywheel (transmission removed - S63)

Special tools required:

11 9 260 .
11 4 180 .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove transmission. See TWIN-CLUTCH GEARBOX (GS7D36SG)or MANUAL GEARBOX (GS6-53BZ) .

Fix flywheel in position with special tool 11 9 260 as shown in graphic.

Release flywheel bolts with special tool 11 4 180 /

Twin-clutch gearbox:

Release all flywheel bolts (1).

Remove all special tools.

Remove flywheel (2).

Installation note:

Clean thread of flywheel bolts in crankshaft.

Flywheel (2) is secured with an alignment pin.

Fit new flywheel bolts .

Tightening torque 11 22 1AZ .
