The automatic transmissions 6HP19TU, and 6HP26TU are mechatronic systems that unite both the mechanical system (transmission) and the electronics (transmission control) within the transmission case. The adaptive transmission control adapts the shift characteristics of the comfort program and sport program to the driver's choice and the driving situation.
