The torsional vibration damper can be replaced in the event of fault.
The uneven run and resulting torsional vibrations of combustion engines may cause loud droning or rattling noises under certain operating conditions. To insulate the torsional vibrations, a torsional-vibration damper is used in the automatic transmission hybrid drive. The torsional-vibration damper sets up the mechanical connection between the flywheel of the combustion engine and the separating clutch of the automatic transmission.
