Mechatronics module
The mechatronics module is a combination of hydraulic shift unit and electronic control unit (EGS). The mechatronics module is installed in the transmission oil sump. The hydraulic shift unit contains the mechanical components of the transmission control unit, such as valves, dampers and actuators. The electronic transmission control unit contains the electronic control unit for the transmission. The electronic transmission control unit is welded oil-tight.
The mechatronic module is adjusted for the operation in the automatic transmission GA8P70HZ. For example, the speed sensor that usually records the transmission input speed is used to record the speed of the planet spider of the first gear set. For this purpose, the multi-pole sensor gear of the speed sensor is connected with the planet spider of the first gear set. It is used to determine the slip of the multidisc brake B during drive-off. The transmission input speed is determined at the automatic transmission GA8P70HZ using the rotor position sensor of the electrical machine.
