Structure and inner electrical connection

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 45 other vehicles, including the 2016 BMW M5, 2016 BMW 550i xDrive, 2016 BMW 550i, 2016 BMW 535i xDrive, and 2016 BMW 535i. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The two LED main light modules have the same design, but are classified using a pin coding into a LED main light module on the left (LHML) and a LED main headlight module on the right (LHMR). The corresponding LED main light module must be coded in the event of a replacement.

The two LED main light modules (LHML and LHMR) are bus users on the K-CAN3.

The power distribution box at the front in the junction box supplies the LED main light module on the left with terminal 30. The power distribution box at the rear supplies the LED main headlight module on the right (LHMR) with terminal 30.
