The high-beam assist indicator lamp lights up in the instrument cluster as soon as the high-beam assistant is activated. The high-beam indicator light also lights up in the usual way as soon as the high-beam headlights are switched on. If the high-beam assistant control unit detects a system failure, a Check Control symbol is displayed.
