51 37 171 Replacing rear left or right side window

Special tools required: 

• 51 3 240

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Completely remove power window regulator at rear. See 51 37 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE REAR LEFT OR RIGHT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR .

Release hook bolts (1) with special tool 51 3 240 .

Feed side window glass (2) out of power windows unit (3).

Installation note: 

Adjust rear door window. See 51 37 154 ADJUSTING REAR LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE WINDOW .
