51 16 273 Removing and installing/replacing fastener for center armrest

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove center armrest cover. See 51 16 167 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) CENTER ARMREST COVER .

Pull the closure for the center armrest (1) including actuator drive forward and out of the center armrest (2).

Replacement 

Operations correspond to: 

Removing and installing/replacing lock cylinder in center armrest. See 51 16 190 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LOCK CYLINDER IN CENTER ARMREST .
