51 16 365 Removing and installing/replacing glove box cover

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove right glove box with housing. See 51 16 366 REMOVING AND INSTALLING RIGHT GLOVE BOX WITH HOUSING .

Spread U clamp (2) of damper (4) until swivel arm (3) slips out.

Release screws (3).

Tightening torque 51 16 15AZ .

If necessary, open glove box cover (1), disengage from clips (2) and remove towards front.
