11 65 310 Removing and installing/replacing blow-off valve (N20)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove front right wheel (all-wheel drive vehicle only)
• Remove clean air pipe.
• Drain coolant.
• Remove expansion tank.
• Remove pedestrian protection at bottom (without USA).
• Remove charge air cooler.
• Remove the catalytic converter.
• Drain engine oil.
• Remove TURBOCHARGER .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque: 11 65 6AZ .

Remove blow-off valve (2).

Installation note: 

Clean the threads and sealing surfaces (2).

Assemble engine.

Observe BMW Diagnostics System instruction.

Carry out BMW leak test for intake system.
