11 65 185 Removing and installing/replacing heat shield, bottom (S63)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove both exhaust turbochargers. See LEFT TURBOCHARGER, CYLINDERS 5-8  and RIGHT TURBOCHARGER, CYLINDERS 1-4 .
• Remove both exhaust manifolds. See LEFT EXHAUST MANIFOLD and RIGHT EXHAUST MANIFOLD .
• Remove ALTERNATOR .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 5AZ .

Remove heat shield (2) towards top.

Assemble engine.
