General information 

Key processes 

1. Remove front left or right door handle cover 

   RISK OF DAMAGE 

   Scratches. 

   Tools and sharp-edged components can cause scratches.

   • Protect working area.
   • Handle tools and components carefully.
   • Insert special tool 0 490 538 (00 9 321)  from below into recess of cover (1).
   • Lift out cover (1) with special tool 0 490 538 (00 9 321)  at clamps (2).
   • Guide out cover (1) downward from retaining hook (3).

2. Installing the front left or right door handle cover 

   RISK OF DAMAGE 

   Scratches. 

   Tools and sharp-edged components can cause scratches.

   • Protect working area.
   • Handle tools and components carefully.
   • Following parts of cover must not be damaged or missing.
     • Latch mechanisms (1)
     • Clamps (2)
     • Retaining hook (3)
   • First guide in cover (1) with retaining hook (3) in door trim panel, then clip into door trim panel.
