51 45 470 Removing and installing/replacing driver's side hinged compartment panel

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove DECORATIVE STRIP ON INSTRUMENT PANEL ON LEFT 
• Remove HINGED COMPARTMENT ON DRIVER'S SIDE 

Release screws (1).

Remove hinged compartment panel (2) and unlock and disconnect plug connection behind.

Installation: 

Make sure hinged compartment panel (2) is correctly seated.

Replacement: 

Remove CONTROL ELEMENT FOR DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM .
