51 23 201 Removing and installing/replacing release mechanism for retaining hook on engine compartment lid

Screw connection only: 

Release screws (1) on engine compartment lid (2).

Unhook Bowden cables (4) from release element (3).

Remove release element (3).

Riveting: 

Drill off blind rivets (1).

Unhook Bowden cables (2) from release element (3).

Remove release element (3).
