Fault description

Diagnosis monitors the presence of signals from the intake camshaft sensor.

The fault is detected when no signals are received from the intake camshaft sensor although other signals indicate that the engine is running.

Possible fault cause:

• Wiring harness defective
• Intake camshaft sensor defective
• Air gap too large
