Fault description

Diagnosis monitors the duration of the working cycles by evaluating the engine speed signals.

The fault is detected when, due to misfiring, the time of a working cycle is too long.

Possible cause of fault:

• Mixture preparation defective
• Ignition system defective
• Mechanical system defective
• DME defective
