Fault description

Diagnosis monitors during control unit run-on whether the ambient pressure sensor, intake manifold pressure sensor and pressure sensor before throttle valve measure the same pressure.

The fault is detected when the display for the nominal value deviates from the other pressure sensors (MAX fault) by about 80 millibar during after-run. Cylinder bank 2

Possible fault cause:

• Sensor cable with shunt
• Sensor measurement defective
