Action in service

  1. If fault codes relating to the DMTL are stored, clear the fault code memory
  2. Perform DMTL function test (see 'CONDITION FOR FAULT CODE MEMORY ENTRY ')
  3. If the fault cannot be reproduced, there is no leak! Conclude repair!
  4. If the fault can be reproduced by the DMTL function test, there is a leak in the fuel tank ventilation system, look for leak.
