Secondary fault, rectify faults relating to the following components or functions:

• Mixture control.
• variable camshaft timing control.
• Tank ventilation system.
• Ignition.
• Injectors.
• Crankshaft sensor.
• Camshaft sensor.
• Electromotive throttle controller.
• Hot film air mass meter.

Check lines and plug connections between the following components:

• DME.
• Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter.
• Check whether the oxygen sensors before and after the catalytic converter have been mixed up.

Check crankcase ventilation.

Replace oxygen sensor before catalytic converter.
